Zoho CRM for Everyone – My Take on the New Update
I recently got the chance to dive into Zoho’s brand-new CRM for Everyone update while testing it for our team, and it honestly feels like an entirely new way of working inside Zoho. What started as a “CRM for sales” now gives every department its own space to collaborate, and I couldn’t wait to share what stood out to me.
What Stands Out
A Cleaner, Faster Layout
The first thing you notice is the new left-hand navigation bar. Everything —modules, reports, and quick actions —is right where you need it, and it only takes a couple of clicks to get anywhere. It feels modern, and the option to switch between light and dark modes is a small but welcome touch during long days.
Teamspaces for Every Department
My favourite part is Teamspaces. Instead of one big CRM where everyone sees everything, each department now gets its own workspace. Sales can focus on leads and deals, Support can manage tickets, Marketing can track campaigns, all without tripping over each other’s data. Team leaders can set up their own dashboards and reports while the admin still keeps overall control.
Built-In Collaboration
If one team needs something from another, you can create a request right inside the CRM instead of sending endless emails. Updates show up in real time, so it’s clear who’s doing what and nothing gets lost.
Why I Like It
- Teamspaces keep me focused. I only see what’s relevant to my work, so I’m not wading through extra tabs.
- Navigation is quick. The new sidebar and shortcuts mean fewer clicks and less searching.
- It feels good to use. The interface is clean, the themes are flexible, and it just makes CRM more enjoyable.
- Requests simplify teamwork. Moving tasks between teams is smoother than ever.
Why It Matters for Business
This update makes everyday work faster and more organised.
It reduces distractions, keeps everyone focused on essential tasks, and makes it easier to involve non-sales teams like HR, Finance, or Legal without paying for unnecessary features. It’s the kind of change that saves time and helps teams work together instead of in silos.
For any company that wants a single place for all teams to collaborate and stay organised, this update is a real step forward. For me, it’s made daily work inside Zoho a lot more enjoyable.
